At the Keep

--Hilda didn't really know where she was, being rather new to the surroundings. She's never been inside the keep before, and the whole situation with the Duke had her slightly nervous. She was leading him on. But really, what purpose did she serve doing that? She wasn't even sure if there would even be any juicy gossip to report to the boss. Especially being cooped in the Keep. She still hadn't heard anything from the boss as far as what to do and she couldn't think of any excuse to stay where she was originally stationed - good enough to tell the Duke. Walking back and forth in her room, she pondered about this very situation. Plus.. how would she keep in contact? --

--As though it were a sign, a flyer was passed under her door. She walked over, picked up the parchment and opened the door to see who gave it to her. With no one in sight, her eyes glanced back down to the parchment and read its contents. It was the flyer for the party in Grorr. After thinking on the matter for a moment or two, she left her room to find her way to where she thought Leto would be. Finding the door, she knocked and waited for instruction to open it.--

Kharne was tired, irritated and hungry. He stalked through the keep reflecting on the tedium and annoyances such as the meeting he'd just completed with two merchants regarding a trade dispute.
He paused at the end of one corridor, seeming out of place in the simple homespun tunic and pants he favoured and had changed into as soon as the merchants had gone. His feet, as ever, were bare.
Kharne studied the strange woman outside Leto's office for a moment, his golden eyes catching the flickering lamp light, then moved onwards in search of one particular barrel which was brought in from the slaughterhouses.

--At the corner of her eye, Hilda noticed a man pass through but really paid no mind. She opened the door and saw the Duke scribbling something on a peice of parchment. She walked to his desk and placed the flyer in front of him.--

Are you busy? Can we go to this? It sounds fun.

--Hilda tried to see what Leto was scribbling, wondering if this was a bad time.--

(He stopped scribbling to look up at her with a tired smile, and then at the parchment she showed him.)

"Yes I don't see why not, I could use the break. Go get ready, i'll come join you shortly."

--Hilda smiled and without a word she left the room back to her own to get changed. The dress she picked out was white, simple, but not too plain. She had help putting it on by a servant--

(really really really really sorry for the delay, i'm moving in a couple of weeks and things have been crazily busy - ill try to be more regular)

(he gave a quick knock on her door and opened it steping in. He was dressed to go, wearing his smartest outfit.)

"Sorry for keeping you. Ar eyou ready to depart?"

--She took his hand when she left her room and allowed him to take the lead to their means of transportation. She was getting excited and wondered how many new faces she would meet. And how Leto was going to introduce her. It was going to be interesting, to say the least. --
