The sun was fading on the city of Grorr, finally it became dark. Deep in the clouds swooped a winged creature, a dragon of death that moved with impressive grace for one its size. Chaaran flew with speed, spying his target with relative ease. He began to make his decent, gliding. With a swoop he breathes out fire above the rooftop of the nearest barracks. The Dragon continues his flight, nearing the castle.
~Ral was awake and on the balcony of his chambers, looking out over the city. his eyes narrow and he glimpses a deeper darkness in the clouds, and then....
FLAMES
...a loud curse escapes his lips, a shout going out for the guards on the walls near him, calling for the signal to be given and the people moved to safety. with that done he moves into his chambers, moving into an inner side chamber to arm himself, calling for Gilligian~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. ~~Gil's eyes snap open with a start, mere seconds before ralean shouts to the guards. he is on his feet instantly, his hands already buckling on his armor out of habit. he grabbed his weapons and ran to meet ralean~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

=Asriel is walking idly about the streets when the flames strike, only a few buildings away. he throws himself aside, safely into cover and looks around, his eyes then drifitng up to a dark shape moving to the castle.
the dracolich? damn. not again
he runs forward, hand readying his blade, following the path to the castle. "TO ARMS! TO ARMS! IT FLIES TO THE CASTLE!"= _________________ Am I a fool or a liar? If I say that I'm neither I'm one. If I say I'm one I'm the other. If i say I'm both, I'm either.
Did not sway in his determination to reach the castle. His eyes narrowed on the main stone buildings in the distance. Chaaran coasted to the nearest tower of Grror castle. He perched himself on top, breathing fire on any guards trying to approach him. This time...he would not be stopped.
~Ral is buckling on the last of his armor as Gil enters, snapping the amsk down ovewr his face. his dragonslaying blade is in hand, with Anthony's blade and his family blade on opposite hips. he nods to Gil. "keep the men away. ranged weapons only. ballista if we have them. as few men as possible. and send word to the other cities." he snaps a quick salute as he moves past Gil and out into the courtyard, moving across to the wall, and up onto the battlements, making hisa way down the wall towards Charaan...~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. =Asriel's silver hair snaps around his face as he dashes for the castle gates, his steps light, seeming almost to float over the streets as he continues to yell for people to flee to safety, or to aid in killing the dracolich. he snaps his blade out as he reaches the gates, and rushes inside, moving to the nearest set of steps up to the wall...= _________________ Am I a fool or a liar? If I say that I'm neither I'm one. If I say I'm one I'm the other. If i say I'm both, I'm either.
~~Gil doesn't offer a salute, moving quickly out of the room. he stops apssing guards, giving Ralean's orders for them to send messengers as fast as they could, as well as for the defense of the castle and city.
"..and be prepared, in case this is a trick, and there are more men coming..."
he sends the soldier off, and rushes to catch up with ralean, stopping in his room long enough to grab some things...a pair of long hunting bows and 2 quivvers of arrows. he then runs to find ral, catching him as he ascends the wall, and handing hiw a bow and quiver of arrows....~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

"Lets finish what we started, wrymslayer...just you and me."
Lips curl into a draconic smirk, wings outstretched to intimidate. He gives them a flutter, exhaling once and fire breathing anything nearby within range.
~Ral does not respond, only pulls the blade from over his shoulder, gesturing in a quick salute to the dracolich as he moves in slowly, stopping just outside of the range of his breath~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. ~~Gil watches Ral go, and moves after him, stopping at the same line and knocking an arrow into his bow, pulling tight and aiming for the beast, letting loose a single arrow for Charaan's chest, waiting to see how it lands~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

He allows the arrow to strike his chest, the tip rebounding off his armored scales as if they were polished steel. His massive tail snaps in a viscious arc, slamming into a tower behind him and causing the stone blocks to tumble into the courtyard below , scatterred like a toddler's toys.(1)
With a belowwing roar he lunges forward, the massive jaws moving to close on Gil(2) even as his talons lsh out to eviscerate Ralean.(3)
(( I will be holding my last 2 actions at this point to use as response to your own gents. Ral, which blade are you using?))
~Ral snaps his body forward, inside Charaan's attack, moving with his claw and spinning towards it, bringing his blade down in a viscious arc intent on severing the talon at the wrist, spinning with the momentum to add power, as well as to face the threat~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. ~~Gil leaps backwards, the snapping jaws shearing cleanly through the leather of his jacket. he hits the ground and backjs quickly to his feet, eyes still on Charaan. "RALEAN!! I CAN'T HURT THE DAMNED THING!"~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

As Ralean swings toward his talon the dracolich snaps it's other massive claw in a downward thrust to crush the dragonslayer,(4) The forward momentum carries his massive weight off balance, dropping his bulk onto the dragonslayereven as he swings his jaws about to keep Gil in veiw(5)
~Ral continues moving in the direction he has facing (back the way he came) sprinting to avoid the Dracoliche's massive bulk, snapping his blade in a sweeping arc across Charaan's neck as he moves up even with the joint between neck and head~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. Where they see me fall, I see myself learning to stand." -PTRB
~~Gil curses as the dracolish throws its body down, never taking his eyes off it, hoping Ral was alright. he began to back up towards the stairs to the wall, a sudden idea coming into his head~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

As he falls and sees Ralean's blade come forward, he snaps his neck high, arching away from the swing(1) His massive talon striking out from under his own body to grab ahold fo the fleeing dragonslayer ash he rises to his feet again(2) With a roar he rises up to full height, balncing on his hind legs and swinging his massive tail in an arc to drag the two men from the wall should he fail to strike ralean with his talons.(3)

~Ral grins, his body screaming with adrenaline as the claw snaps out towards him. using a similar movement as before, he snaps around it at the last minute, moving around the back of the talon to avoid he tail, using the same motion to bring the WyrmSlayer to bear on the back of the talon as it strikes the wall~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. ~~Gil curses, turning to sprint as the tail sweeps across. he leaps high to avoid it, coming down off balance as it passes him by, rolling along the wall and skidding to a stop before the stairs to the courtyard. WHERE THE HELL WERE THE GUARDS??~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

~~Gil makes a snap decision, snatching a fallen arrow from the stone ground and standing, knocking it into place with one fluid motion. he aims for Charaan's eye as his head snaps down, letting the shaft fly, with a cry of "NEXUS!!"~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

~Ral sidesteps the claw as it comes backwards, feeling it tear the cloak from him as it brushes by(2). he spins, throwing his body weight into a swing at Charaan's face as it snaps down towards him(3)~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. Chaaran looks in time for the arrow to peirce his left eye cleanly, the shaft rupturing the dark orb causing blood and fluid ro run down his face. With a bellowing roar he strikes out, catching ralean in the chest and sending him flying toward the stone wall of the keep. Wounded, the dracolich leps into the air.
(( yes, I knowit was an auto to hit Ralean, but we gotit cleared for this fight.))
~Ral snaps his blade down across Charaan's claw as it catches him in the chest, hurling him from the wall. in the same motion, he throws the blade onto the wall at Gil's feet, in case he needed to continue to the battle.
...Ral landed hard amid the debris, feeling his left arm twist and snap at an odd angle underneath him, the force of impact, his ribs cracking with the force of the landing. his vision blurs slightly, agony racing trhrough his body, his nerves screaming out, sending waves of gut-wrenching pain up his body. he tries to find his feet, but falls back, gasping, clenching his teeth to keep from crying out. he turns his eyes back to the dracolich as it takes to the air~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. ~~Gil drops his bow, grabbing the WyrmSlayer as it hits near his feet and shouting for the artillery to bring the beat out of the air, and he spirnts down the steps to the courtyard below, yelling for a healer as he enars ralean, not knowing the extent of Ral's injuries.~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

With a defeaning roar, the dracolich sprays the area where Ralean lays with a blst fo searing flame(1) He swings his tail in a viscious arc , crashing into the nearest tower(2) before his powerful wings take him up beyond the range fo the enemy below him.(3)
~~Gil sprints across the remaining distance as Charaan's roar fills the air. the adrenaline coursing through his body pushes his limits as he sprints across, reaching down in motion and pulling Ral over his shoulder, diving behind a pile of stone rubble as the flames wash across the courtyard, searing his back and catching the edge of what is left of his coat alight. he attempts to land under Ral, to cushion the impact of landing amid the rubble, and then rolls over top of him, to keep any flames that made it past the barrier off Ral, blade still in hand, cursing loudly~~ _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!

~Ral is attempting to push himself up as Gil pulls him from the ground, gritting hsi teeth as his arm is jarred. he looks back, havoing only time to see flames before he is thrown behind the protective pile of rubble, letting out a sharp cry as his bruised and broken body is slammed against Gil, and then to the ground underneath Gil~ _________________ "Failure is not in my eyes, but in the eyes of others. ~~Gil promptly takes off what is left of his vest and shirt, patting at the flames muttering to himself "Damn him, Damn that overgrown poor excuse of a lizard.Hes ruined my favorite shirt." He stands up to his full height, watching the beast fly out of range. He hobbles back over to ral now just realizing that his leg hurt from the tumble.He takes a better look at ral's broken body and says with earnst "Now look what you've done, you've gone and messed up my moment of glory.The people should be saying Oii! Gil what a bloody good job you did on that Dracolich fellow.But now all they'll be saying is Ralean does your arm bother you terribly?Where was gil when you needed him?" gil smiles,"oii you look worse than the time I i lost that bet with that dwarf and he thought I was going to leave without paying " _________________ I don't mean to point any fingers but....It was all Ralean's fault!!
