This is an ooc summary of whats been happening in the chatroom with the pirates.
All the pirates decide to swim out to the anchored ship in order to take it out. Scarlet starts to climb up the netting.
On board the ship, it is Sharlenes first day. The Cabin boy is mopping the deck as he talks to her. There is a man with an apple which he is eating. Scarlet gets halfway up the netting when the cabin boy throws the dirty water overboard. She starts to climb the netting again whilst Silas and Gurd climb up a different area of the ship. The Cabin boy ties some rope to the handle of the bucket and throws it overboard for some fresh water which hits Scarlet on the head. She grabs the bucket and tries to put her feet around the rim of it and hold on. The Cabin boy thinks he's caught a fish and asks Sharlmane to help. They heeve Scarlet up.
Scarlet gives a flowery speech about being a pirate who's come to attack when in shock the Cabin boy lets go of the bucket and rope which altimately causes Scarlet back into the water.
Gurd and Silas are then spotted and a swashbuckling fight breaks out. Sharlene is captured and tied up.
The pirates celebrate by getting drunk, and Scarlet ends up untying Sharlmane and she agree's to join them.
The adventure continues... _________________ "Storyline is like a rollercoster. Just sit back and enjoy the ride...and hope you don't fall out."
Silas rolled over in the Crow's Nest...there was an empty bottle in his hand and his sword was propped up next to his head. He grumbled a bit and snorted..."Mmmm Rum." He scratched his gut.
He sat up, the sun shone in his eyes. He looked up and yawned, stretching his arm out. A flock of seagulls let out there cry, and then dropped a present right in the center of Silas' forehead.
His smile faded to a grimmace, he took his bandana and wiped his forehead and stood up, shaking his fist at the passing birds. "Ya daft bastards!"
He put his hands behind his back and looked off into the sea..."I need rum." _________________ "A long time ago, way back in history, when all there was to drink was naught but cups o' tea, along came a man by the name of Charlie Mops, and he invented a wonderful drink, and he made it out of hops!"
[[ sits in the cabin, all the windows coverred by heavy cloth to keep the majority of the room free of sunlight. He scans the map in front of him, cross-referncing the map's coordinates with those of the charts he has found]]
Sharlene turned around after a while of staring at the sea, then headed over to an open crate of Rum. She grabbed a bottle from the crate and brought the cork to her mouth, yanking it out with her sharp teeth.
Taking a long gulp from the bottle, she wandered up to the top of the ship, her long bushy tail swaying from side to side as she walked. She stopped and looked out the the vast ocean ahead of them. They'd been drifting for a while now. She wondered if this was the career she really wanted. Well, it wasn't quite a career...it was more of a do-what-the-hell-you-want sort of thing. Still, the reward for living at you own leasure with a group of outlaws was rather high, and the adventure could give her life that little more excitement...
Swings from one sail rope, catching the next. She was completely within her element as she swings, lets go of the rope, tucks in, and then out as she lands, her feet hitting the deck with a loud "Thud"
Aye me mateys, I've missed this!
She laughs heading towards the cabin where Victor is inside. She bangs on his door
Yer got any more news, Victor - cos I'm gonna have to know which way I'm gonna have to steer this beautiful ship, aye. _________________ Aye..I fought two Carthallions an' survived.
[[ sighs, hating this being trapped indoors all day]]
Captain set your bearings north. I will inform you more once we are travelling along the northern coast....hopefully we will be able to avoid the Aegis navy...and if we move quickly we will surely be able to ourtun the Aurorans.
We will need to make landfall soon. I have not fed properly in several nights and I may not be able to hold it off too long if we do not put some suitable nourishment on board.
Silas searched the crows nest a bit and finally found his bottle, the sun shining on him, making him warm. He took a swig. "Ah I love Del Fuaco, the tradewinds how they keep it temperate!"
He looked down to those on deck. "I'd hate to be an Auroran Pirate, I would!" he called.
He put his knife in hits little sheath on his vest and then put on his belt and scabbard and began climbing down the rigging.
He sang a little song as he climbed down.
"Drink up me hearties, yo ho! Yo ho!" _________________ "A long time ago, way back in history, when all there was to drink was naught but cups o' tea, along came a man by the name of Charlie Mops, and he invented a wonderful drink, and he made it out of hops!"
Sharlene sighed a little and decided that she had better get some work done, otherwise Gurd would be onto her tail. She turned back around and headed over to the empty mop bucket, picked it up and tied the coil of rope that was left next to it around the handle. She took it over to the rails and lowered it into the water to fill it up. Slowly she brought it back up and headed over to the mop.
I have already killed the cabin boy. Now captain, if you wish top speak I suggest enterring the room instead of standing outside and yelling like a fishmonger's wife...
[[ makes a few more corrections on the chart, closing his journal and slipping it inside his tunic as he moves from the tabel with the charts to a bench in the corner which has becoem a resting place for his armor]]
Gurd was at the ship's helm while Scarlet was busy talking with Victor. All these days he has uttered very few words and generally keeps to himself. HE doesn't like what they're doing, knowing that even though they would get away from the Auroran and Aegis fleet, they would still have to deal with Victor who was just about certain to do them in. He took a time to examine the newest crewmembers. Silas looked jolly and easy-going enough, at least he could be of some use on deck. Sharlene seemed to be catching up fast but she hadn't proven anything yet. Not until she bloodied herself along with everyone else. He just stayed there looking at them and keeping a steady course. His ears flickered as he tried to focus on Scarlet's voice that could be heard from below. _________________ Take what you can by sword and saber

The Area suddenly seems to go dark rather quickly. The clouds look grimy grey and black. A roll of thunder grumbles as the motion of the boat dips and dives up and down. Slowly, the rain begins to fall, pitter pattering lightly - then hitting heavy, the downpour soaking the sails as the first crack of lightening flashes across the sky _________________ "Storyline is like a rollercoster. Gurd never saw this coming, he thought it was a bit odd, but it was not in minotaur nature to question things for long. He turned the rudder to face the weather so the waves would not tip them over and began shouting
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? PULL UP THOSE SAILS OR WE'LL GET STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE" _________________ Take what you can by sword and saber

Sharlene noticed that the sun was no longer shining against the areas of the deck she had mopped, so she stopped and looked up to the sky as the wind began to pick up. Noticing that the sky had turned black, she narrowed her eyes. It didn't seem to be a natural storm to her.
As the rain began to patter on the deck, she looked over to Gurd, then ran toward one of the masts, trying to keep her balance as the waves began to throw the ship around. She began to untie one of the sails so that it may be pulled up.
He was just about knocked from some the rigging; He'd been climbing up to his little crow's nest.
"D'arg! Damn the ocean!"
With that he carefully hopped from the rigging to the pull rope of the mizzenmast.
"Gurd! Help me get this mizzensail up, the storm'll tear it apart!"
He pulled all his weight on it, and it raised the sail slowy but erratically as the tossing boat flung Silas about a bit. _________________ "A long time ago, way back in history, when all there was to drink was naught but cups o' tea, along came a man by the name of Charlie Mops, and he invented a wonderful drink, and he made it out of hops!"
According to the maps we will be able to set port in a shallow bay, it used to be a fishing village, but for all intents and purposes we can safely assume it is beyond a ruin now. From there we travel inland to the city.
[[ frowns as he smells the storm brewwing, his ears catching the sound of rain on the deck as the weather changes for the worse]]
I think we may have a bit of trouble captain...return to the deck, call me if it proves dark enough and my aid is needed.
Seeing Silas was right and that they had little time gurd let go of the rudder and jumped down from the helm, barely landing on his feet. He rushed over to Sharlene and grabbed her forcefully by the arm, pulling her away from what she was doing.
"GO GET THE RUDDER AND KEEP THE WAVES IN FRONT OF US"
He then proceeded to Silas to help him with the heavy sail. _________________ Take what you can by sword and saber

Sharlene stumbled a little as she was pushed aside, but took no nitce of it - this was no time to. She turned and headed up to the wheel. She had never used one before, but how hard could it be?
Grasping it in both hands, she began to steer it, trying to keep the waves in front as Gurd had said. She used the wheel to keep her balance when the ship rocked heavily. If she fell, then this could get horribly worse.
She turns sharply and leaves the cabin in a hurry, heading back out on deck. She sways with the boat as if second nature. Nods to Sharlene and shouts "Thank you!! Help Gurd, then get inside before yer soak to death!!" _________________ Aye..I fought two Carthallions an' survived.
Lets go of the wheel as Scarlet takes over, and heads over to the mast that wasn't being tended to. She started to untie it to find that somebody must have tightened it up even more. She couldn't get her fingers around the rope.
She was tired of being told what to do, and it wasn't in her nature to take orders like the scivvey. She drew her sword and neatly cut into the rope to free the mast. Taking hold of the now loose rope, she looped it under the sail, then proceeded to climb up the mast with the rope over her shoulder in an attempt to take it up herself.
She knew she probably wouldn't be able to lift such a heavy thing by herself, but if she could just reach the top...then maybe they would respect her a little more. She was determined to reach the top.
[[ finishes wrapping himself in heavy cloth, all of his skin now hidden under a black wrap. He steps ut on deck, moving quickly to the bow of the ship and peering through the storm]]
CAPTAIN! HARD TO STARBOARD!
[[ continues to stare out over the waves, his supernatuarally sharp eyes locked on the rocks ahead and the ship that seems to be hoverring in the mists at the edge of the storm]]
Stays firm, turning the wheel. She looks across to the mists, trying to see through it all _________________ Aye..I fought two Carthallions an' survived.
Once the sail was up, he shouted to Gurd. "Hold it there! I'll climb the mast and tie it!" He let go of the swaying rope, leaning to and fro with the movement of the ship so as not to fall. He leaped for the mast and gripped the rigging, the ships swaying made it harder to ascend, but he eventually made it, then he lost his grip and fell from the rigging, fortunately, his foot had been caught in the ropings, unfortunately he was now being flung about upside down in the middle of a maelstrom. _________________ "A long time ago, way back in history, when all there was to drink was naught but cups o' tea, along came a man by the name of Charlie Mops, and he invented a wonderful drink, and he made it out of hops!"
Stands next to Silas and reaches out to grab the rope. After grabbing it with two hands he starts hauling as hard as he could, giving time to Silas to synchronize and help him haul it faster. _________________ Take what you can by sword and saber

The wind blew her about viciously as she clung to the mast to steady herself. She was just a little over halfway up the mast. As she got higher, gravity began to pull down on her more.
Eventually, she looped her arm through the netting and clung tightly to it, holding tightly to the rope as she tugged out her sword and stuck it firmly into the mast for extra support. Using the hilt, she managed to just about get her right leg over the top part of the mast. If she could just throw her body over, she could slide down all in one go.
OOC: Sorry mate. For some obscure reason I never saw your post . Anyways I'll try to retype my action))
Gurd held the rope steady as Silas climbed up. He was looking upwards so as to know when to let it go and he saw Silas slip and hang himself upside down. He turns around to find Sharlene in all the haze but he can't seem to spot her anywhere on the deck.
"SHARLENE GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE AND GET THIS MAN LOOSE! WE'RE FEW ENOUGH ALREADY"
Without letting the rope go, he curses uder his breath as he realizes that in a few moments they were at the brink of going down _________________ Take what you can by sword and saber

Beautiful weather!! Hold in there Silas, me matey!! We're doin' good! Aye!!!!
Ignores the fact that she's soaked wet, but desperately looks through the mist
