{{Strides into the mage school as easy as a student might, his cane tucked comfortably under his arm. As he wondered, he nodded formally to mages as they pass by. Stopping one, he finds the directions to Marianna's office and chose to make his way there.}}

(Rensain would be surprised by the door that opened to his side as he move to Marianna's office. Leto stepped out, and upon seeing Rensain, he had to force his jaw to not drop in disbelief)

"Mmm, Likewise, Duke of Salarain. Shouldn't you be taking care of your own city?"

{{Smirks with a curt nod, opening the door to Maraiana's office with ease. He unclasps his cloak and drops it onto the waiting hook, slowly making his way over to the desk. Sitting down, he leans back, savoring the moment.}}

"I think I'll enjoy my time here..."

~knocks lightly on the door to the headmaster's office and steps inside, taking a brief look around the room. She is dressed formally with her usual bottles of water tucked away in hidden pockets and a folder of papers under one arm. She smiles slightly to Leto and turns to Rensain~

I was informed of your arrival, Rensain. Is there anything I can help you with?

"Amarra, its good that we meet again. Feel free to take a seat and inform me of what needs to be corrected here. From what I understand, Marianna has been neglecting her duties for some time."

I have no magical ability, that's true. I have no objections to you taking the position of headmaster, as long as I see confirmation in the Queen's own hand that she approves. On the condition, of course, that Duke Leto remains your assistant. After all, he was helping Duchess Maraiana, so he knows better than anyone what has been going on at the school. That is, if is willing to keep the position.

"Frankly Amarra, you'll have no choice once the Queen agree's and sends permanent confirmation. In the meantime, I disagree with Leto sitting here as assistant. I think its a rather rediculous notion, considering he's a Duke of another city and he's given me no mage qualifications at all - or his job title. I see no use for him and I shall be quick to point this out to the Queen unless you can tell me otherwise?"

You have no authority here until the queen says otherwise, so he has no reason to give you anything one way or another. When he does, I'm sure he will. He was asked by the former dushess to assist her, and that is what he will do for as long as he is willing. We will speak again when the we receive orders from the queen.

"You'll no doubt be delighted to know, that this was initially the Queen's idea. As for lack of magical experience, the other magic instructors are doing a fine job - my job is administritive, and requires no magical experience. I'm sure her Majesty wouldnt approve of 'black magic' finding it's way into the curriculum now would she?"
